1 Evaluation Rules
the innovative track is divided into three stages: the preliminary round, the semi-final and the final. For preliminary round, it will be held in Hong Kong, 3 teams can be advanced to represent Hong Kong and Macau sector to the intermediary (Semi Final). In semi final, Judging experts will be randomly selected from the expert pool of judges, upholding the principle of fairness and impartiality, and the organizing committee will supervise the review process. The preliminary round will be judged onsite. The semi-finals will be judged online, and the final round will be judged by public defense.
1.1 The review rules for the preliminary round are outlined as follows:
1.1.1 The innovation and characteristics of the work: 50 points
(1) Design concept
(2) Interface design
(3) Interaction Design
(4) Feasibility of design
1.1.2 Prospect assessment: 40 points
(1) Significance: the define of user needs
(2) Value: the popularity of from market angle
1.1.3 Completeness and quality of work data: 10 points
(1) Completeness of project data
(2) Data quality, etc.
Note: The score of each item shall not be lower than 60% of the full score of the item. If the main results of the entries are not completed during the competition, the points will be deducted as appropriate; the results of each stage will not be carried into the next stage.
1.2 The review rules for the semi-finals and finals of the innovative track are outlined as follows:

(4) Feasibility of design
1.2.2 Prospect assessment: 25 points
(1) Significance: the degree of user needs
(2) Value: the popularity of the market
1.2.3 Basic parameters of the work: 25 points
(1) Functionality
(2) Reliability
(3) Fluency
1.2.4 Completeness and quality of work data: 10 points
(1) Completeness of project data
(2) Data quality, etc.
Note: The score of each item shall not be lower than 60% of the full score of the item. If the main results of the entries are not completed during the competition, the points will be deducted as appropriate; the results of each stage will not be carried into the next stage.
2. Award setting
The evaluation results of this competition will be reviewed by the competition expert committee and announced on the competition official website. The award certificate will be printed and issued by the competition organizing committee, and the award ceremony will be held after the final evaluation.
2.1 The innovation track awards are set as follows:
Most Innovative Award: 1 team (selected from the first prize)
First prize: 6 teams (including 2 teams on AR track)
Second prize: 21 teams (including AR track 2 teams)
Third prize: 33 teams (including 6 teams on AR track)
Social Responsibility Innovation Award: Several Teams
Outstanding Instructor Award: won by the most innovative award and first prize team instructors.
Outstanding Instructor Award: won by the instructor of the finalist team.
Outstanding Organization Awards: won by the school with the most teams in the finals and semi-finals.
Regional competition awards: The selection will be based on the review results of the works submitted in the semi-final stage.
The Social Responsibility Innovation Special Award is selected from the final works and can be superimposed with other awards without affecting the performance of the original track (the selection result depends on the quality of the final works, if there are no works that meet the standards, the special award can be vacant).
2.2 For Hong Kong & Macau region’s preliminary contest, we will offer attractive award which will share in your application form
After the award result is announced, the competition organizing committee will keep a 10-day question and complaint period for the award-winning works. Complainants should provide their real name, unit, contact information and detailed evidence to prove that the winning team has violated regulations. The Competition Organizing Committee will investigate after receiving real-name complaints. If it is confirmed that a participating team violates the rules, the competition organizing committee will disqualify the team.
